The Roosters of Ogunquit movement has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined. 
While we work behind the scenes on establishing our own 501(c)(3), we don’t want to lose the incredible momentum that all of YOU have helped create. So many people have reached out asking, “How can we donate? How can we help?”
For now, we would love to encourage that generosity to stay right here in our local community. 
If you would like to make a donation, please consider supporting t The Youth Enrichment Center at Hilton-Winn Farm, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to positive youth development, nature-based education, and preserving the agricultural traditions and landscape of New England.
And this one feels especially close to our hearts.
Some of you may know that Sara and Dave ran nature-based childcare programs in Vermont for many years, and nature-based education has always been something they are incredibly passionate about.
This is how Pyper grew up for her first five years — OUTDOORS! 
Exploring. Getting dirty. Learning through play. Being around animals. Experiencing the world with all of her senses. Being given the space to just be Pyper.
So it feels incredibly fitting that, while we build the future of Roosters of Ogunquit, Hilton-Winn Farm receive donations on behalf of Pyper’s movement. They offer so much wonderful programming for kids of all types and ages and give children opportunities to learn, explore, connect with nature, and experience things every child deserves to experience.
When we took Pyper to the farm, she was lost in heaven. The animals, the outdoors, the freedom to explore — she was completely in her element.
And then this week, it all came full circle in the sweetest way…
The kids at Hilton-Winn Farm camp painted TWO of Pyper’s roosters! 
To see kids at a place that represents so much of what we believe in — nature, childhood, creativity, acceptance and belonging — putting their own love and creativity into Pyper’s roosters is pretty incredible.
Those roosters aren't just decorations anymore. Each one represents another person, another family, another child and another connection in this village that just keeps growing.
And watching Pyper at the farm reminded us of something we have believed for a very long time:
Every kid should get to experience this.
Every child deserves places where they are welcomed exactly as they are. Places where they can explore, learn, get dirty, make connections, find joy, and simply belong.
This whole journey started with a rooster and one little girl…and somehow it has turned into a village larger than we ever could have imagined.
Until we are able to officially accept donations through Roosters of Ogunquit, we can't think of a more fitting way to keep this momentum going than helping an organization doing meaningful work for kids right here in our community.
